I bought these for my daughter's graduation party as a surprise to
her....she may be growing up but still kid at heart (she loves the movie
Tangled). Anyhow, each lantern was individually packaged with easy to
follow directions. None of my lanterns were damaged. I purchased 2
orders. All our lanterns were successful. I found it best to have two
people to work as a team. The instructions say lift off will take about
45-90 seconds. They have a quicker ascent if you hold them closer to
the 90 second mark. Best to use them in an open area so they don't get
hung up in any trees. They all reached great heights. We had children
to adults sending them off without any problems. They were fun to send
off as well as just watch float into the sky. If you want a mass send
off you will need to set up several teams. The lanterns fuel pad
eventually burns out and they return to the ground, somewhere. Many of
ours landed well over a mile away. Follow the directions and enjoy!
